So, while trying to kill time and not fall into emoness as I tend to sometimes, I found this anime. It revolves around a girl called Kajika Burnsworth who is the daughter of a business tycoon in NYC. She has a very interesting past and her lineage if exposed, could bring about change and scandal to a small country call Raginei. Because her father is the illegitimate son of the past king of Raginei, King Mahaty, she is now the next in line to the throne of Raginei. And because of that, her father, Harry Burnsworth, wanted to find someone for her who would protect her no matter what the consequences in the event of his death. So he came up with a game for Kajika. He picked out 3 guys that would be her future husband, Eugene de Volkan, Prince Rumaty Ivan of Raginei and Carl Rosenthal. Each picked for their unique status and personality, Kajika is supposed to discover these 3 and to pick out one of them as her future husband. Fang Li-Ren, a brotherly like figure to Kajika is to keep watch over her as things unfold. However, it is getting harder for him to suppress his feelings for her as he sees her meeting up with the 3 candidates her father picked. Although predictable, the anime has a nice twist to it involving the political turmoil in Raginei. It is here itself when Kajika was pursued by an assassin and is at the brink of death that she realises the one person she could not live without. She finally realised how love really feels like. And in the end too, it is revealed that the 3 that her father picked are all not suitable candidates for her anyway. They are used as a measure to Li-Ren, the boy who was groomed from young to succeed Harry as Kajika's protector.

Of course from the start I was rooting for Li-Ren all the way considering how good looking he is... Although the other 3 has something about them that makes them special too, but Li-Ren is still the best!!!!! Haha... At least it takes my mind of things when I am drooling over anime guys and engrossed by the storyline. Takes my mind off worrying for others when I have not even dealt with my own problems myself... Now to go looking for another anime...

Long Overdue

Okay... So I have been lazy of late. It can't be helped. There are too many things to do lately that I'm practically sleeping every time I get the chance. My sleeping pattern is all wrong, my room is a mess, even my meal times are messed up. I'm half dead, dying soon and I'm glad to get some rest this weekend when I'm back in Ipoh and let my family pamper me a little. I deserved it! XP

First things first, let me get into my otaku mood and rave about Nodame Cantabile Live Action. I wanted to watch this a long time but never seem to get the chance till now. It was a pain downloading each and every single episode... But it was so worth it! The music was GREAT. The actors and actresses are even better. It was so funny and all the actions are really like the ones in the anime itself!

Mukai Osamu acting as the 'playboy' cello player. Okay, so I think he is much more better looking than Hiroshi Tamaki, pic below, shoot me. His smile is just too sweet to resist! *swoon* But Chiaki senpai does look really good wearing his long sleeved shirt all the time! Hawtness! Don't you just love a guy who can pull off wearing a long sleeved shirt and actually looking good in it? =P

Next would be an anime I discovered while scouting around for some to watch after I'm done with Nodame. It's called Yakushaku to Yousei or Earl And Fairy. The anime itself is not complete yet, I think there's another season since the story is hanging in the end but, Edgar, the Blue Knight Earl, is exactly the type of gentlemanly guy I drool after. XD He's smooth and suave and he talks about being a nobleman and his duty for his people all the time... Why aren't there any people like him on Earth anymore?

EDGAR! *HEARTS* He remind me somewhat of Suou Tamaki from Ouran...

Other than being in my fantasy world, I do have a life outside of anime and manga! Though these past two weeks have been pure torture. Tests and assignments and presentation on top of drama practices, I'm practically dead on my feet whenever I reached campus. The lack of sleep has been getting to me and I've been having headaches all over. My eyes hurt and itch and I can't open my eyes wide in the sunlight. I'm really turning nocturnal now... Gyah! I just need some fangs, a super power or two, a craving for warm red liquid and TADA! I'm a vampire! XD

Gosh, now that I reached episode 231 of Bleach I can't wait till the next one is coming out, wondering what is happening in Soul Society now that the Zanpakutous have materialised and is getting back at their masters. Why are they doing this? Who is that Muramasa that is currently leading them? Why are they wrecking havoc in Soul Society? Why? Why? Why? Grrr... The long wait for the next episode is nerve wrecking...

Howl's Moving Castle

I know this is like a VERY old movie but I can't seem to get enough of it. The main reason? Christian Bale is the voice actor for Howl in the English version. His voice here is so smooth and sexy, definitely drool worthy. Another reason would be the music score for the movie. The music is awesome! My favourite scene would be when they first met, the scene called Sky Stroll. Especially when Howl said, "Where to? I'll be your escort this evening." *squeals* The scene can be found here : Sky Stroll. Sophie is dubbed but Howl's voice remains as Christian Bale's I think... Hear it and fall into a bottomless pit, never to get out again. *HEARTS*

Craving For The Warmth of Blood

The one reason why I started watching this anime is (YES) the HOT guys (vampires). I mean, who can resist them? They have the element of darkness, of mystery and yet, they are gorgeous and dashing. How can something like vampires thought to be beasts have such gracefulness and allure!?

I was also happy to find out that Zero was voiced by Miyano Mamoru, one of the best seiyuu ever in my opinion. Just because his voice has that something about it that makes me swoon. XD However, this anime for me is all about Kuran Kaname, the older brother and fiance of Yuuki... Voiced by Daisuke Kishio, the same voice of Kanayan from La Corda, he is my main focus throughout the anime. It's the eyes, it's the voice, it's his superiority as a pureblood vampire and it's his hair that looks like they're always dripping wet. *squeals!*

Like the other day class students, I'd probably be screaming at the gates every evening waiting for the night class (vampires) to leave their dorm if I can. No matter how dangerous vampires are, won't we still get attracted to them? Because we are attracted to the darker side of things. The mystery of others. And having someone like that who has been a predator all they're life protect you? It really is love huh? Okay... Now I'm thinking of Edward Cullen already. XD Still, vampires rock!

The Loves of My Life!

I woke up late today and missed the bus again! What bad luck... So I guess there's nothing I can do but walk all the way to campus with Satay because I absolutely will NOT ride on a motorbike EVER again. Thank goodness he messaged me or else I would still be in bed. We got there in time for the lecture to start at least. Our 'Team Building and Leadership Skills' class. It was ok I guess...... So my mood is not that good but what totally brightens up my day was, GUESS WHAT, the guys from La Corda! The waves emanating from them are so strong I'm swept away. They spell HOT all the way! Kaji-kun is sparkling! He looks so gentle! The guys' shocked faces when he kissed Kaho's hand are really something to see indeed. XD AND he is voiced by no other than Miyano Mamoru! *swoons*

The Golden String

Len gets special attention! Doesn't he look good in long sleeved shirts? Sigh... Oh well, I always have been attracted to guys who can pull off a long sleeved shirt. XD Or maybe it's just the thought of a good looking guy like him who plays the violin! And those sad eyes! *swoons*

I know what everyone is thinking, why does almost every post in this blog mentions a manga, an anime or a book, am I right? Truth to be told, I was rarely excited about anything else except for those. My eyes practically lit up when the subject is broached. And so once again, this post is about an anime! La Corda D'Oro or The Golden String to be exact! What exactly attracted me to this anime? The opening song and the queue of utterly good looking guys that’s what! What more can a girl asks for? Hehe... And after watching it, I fell in love with the songs and of course, one of the guy characters! Tsukimori Len! He’s aloof but deep inside he’s a real nice guy. Sensitive and is a talented violinist, he has his own demons as have everyone from the anime. There is vulnerability in his character that attracts me. He is very different from Tsuchiura Ryoutarou who looks more manly and strong. Or the evil and mischievous Yunoki Azuma that reminds me greatly of Ootori Kyouya from Ouran High School Host Club. The junior Shimizu Keiichi is weird but in that sense he is absolutely adorable and is really funny to watch. Hihara Kazuki, the trumpeter is just a plain nice guy but then again, sometimes, it’s the darkness of a person that attracts others don’t you think?

Gunther, Gunther, you're so cute and amazing!

A teacher and swordsman who adores Yuuri. (It's actually a very mild term, obsessed is what I'll use in his case) Günter is a skilled swordsman and magician, but has retired to teach Yuuri about Shin Makoku and his future duties as the Maoh. He is a very whimsical person and poetic in his thoughts. *SWOONS* He is Yuuri's advisor and mentor, teaching Yuuri various aspects of Shin Makoku. Günter's personality is usually bubbly and emphatic, but when he puts on his serious face he can be awe-inspiring. (TOTALLY!) He has an extremely strong attachment to Yuuri and tends to pine (spaz) when Yuri has been gone from the Shin Makoku for any considerable amount of time. He is very popular among females and males because of his good looks!!!!! ( So true...)

Kyou Kara Maou!

I'm watching Kyou Kara Maou now! Reached about episode 49 I guess... Second season. Gosh I’m so in love with the characters... There's the naive and idiotic Maou, Yuri, who's deep sense of justice prevails above all else. His "fiancé", Wolfram, is hot tempered and always gets jealous no matter who Yuri talks to. (Seems like a guy and guy relationship in Shin Makoku is a norm.) Gwendal is funny when you think of his obsession with CUTE THINGS! A warrior like him who looks so formidable, that actually loves to knit and is afraid of the so called "scary" feminist, Anissina. Now, among them, Conrad is the most gentle, and understands Yuri the most. Perhaps it’s because Yuri was born from the soul of Julia. (Who I suspect is someone Conrad is in love with) And, Conrad is the one who always dote on Yuri and pampers him. Not to say that the others does not but they have their own ideas of how things are done and prefers their way of executing them. Wolfram loves to call Yuri an idiot and Gwendal is just plain cold. But they really do "sayang" Yuri a lot. My favourite character would have to be Gunter. Although he's slightly obsessed (Ok. VERY obsessed) with Yuri, I kinda liked his character best. Silly most of the time and is only RARELY serious, he is so hilarious to look at but at the same time, I have to admire his sword skills and he just looks so awesomely cool when he's not going gaga over Yuri. Gyaa! His short experience of having his soul transferred to a kokeshi doll is extremely funny. Got me rofl... XD Another funny episode is when a certain Princess Elizabeth is introduced to Yuri only to make herself known as Wolfram's fiancée! Wolfram of course chose Yuri but Elizabeth knocked all the utensils onto the floor and poor Yuri accidentally picked up the fork again to all's dismay. You can even see Conrad holding his face in his hands behind Yuri. Romeo and Paris! They fight, one fall. But who is the one who fell? Yuri wanted to lose because he thinks Elizabeth is better suited for Wolfram but everyone made comments about it and so he resigned himself to the fight. When all seems lost, Wolfram steps in and defended Yuri. Elizabeth was so mad she started on Wolfram and even used magic but Dark Yuri stepped in this time because he does not want to see someone he cares for hurt. And so, he saves the day again! Yuri still has to endure having Wolfram in his bed but "Oh well..." *shrugs* Nothing is ever perfect. Not even in the Great Demon Kingdom. =)
