Call me a romanticist or whatever you like, but I am totally in love with this movie... The storyline is so moving... A truly heartbreaking youthful tale of a girl, brought forward 50 years into the future. Or maybe, a 65 year old woman, brought back to the past to when she was a teenager and met her one true love. And two others, Sophie and Charlie, are brought together by destiny, in this adventure they had undertaken to unite two lovers who could not be together due to circumstances in the past. Though Claire could not be with her Lorenzo 50 years back, she was reunited with him 50 years in the future. Time does not matter when it comes to love. As long as it is true what they had felt, it was never to be taken from them. I especially love the part where Charlie proposed to Sophie... With a proposal like that, who wouldn't melt?

Gokusen is one of my favourite dramas of all time. I could watch it over and over again... Not just because it is a drama packed full of good looking guys (when I say packed, I mean SERIOUSLY PACKED), but because of the values of friendship shown in each and every episodes.

A class of delinquents, 3D is a terror for all the teachers in the school. Whenever anything bad happens, they will be the first to be blamed. The teachers of the schools have no shame in pointing their fingers to those students who are weak academically and look like troublemakers with dyed hair and accessories of all kinds on top of their normal school uniform. (which makes them different and cool in the first place I'd say...) These students hated adults and could not trust them. Until Yankumi arrives. She is the first teacher who has ever treated them fairly and faced them head on. And in time, she touched their hearts and gain their trust claiming that she will make sure that the entire class graduates as one.

The drama focuses on the trials faced by a few of the students and how Yankumi does everything she could to help each of them out. One of the thing she stresses the most is friendship. She will always be remind them that no matter what happens, their friends will always be there for them and believe in them. Although they do not always hang out together as a class except during school hours, although they have their own closer group of friends, although in time they will each walk their separate ways, whenever troubles come sniffing by, each and everyone of them rose to the occasion as one. Of course there are times when the class is split, individuals of different characteristics will definitely collide. Conflicts are inevitable. But the bond forged between them during that time, that place, will never disappear.

In the end, have they not gone through so many things together? The tears and laughter shared in the past will be brought forward as beautiful memories. Each one of them holding up another during painful times...

I too have great memories with a bunch of silly and idiotic friends that I treasure.

And so I procrastinated and only did my slides for my English for Science presentation the day before I am supposed to present. The worse thing about the situation is the fact that I have yet to choose my topic for the presentation. Stressing about it for some time, I finally decided to talk about the Fibonacci Sequence. It seem to be an interesting enough topic and I hope that it would not bore the rest of the class... It was only after I did more research that it struck me. The golden ratio, which is the ratio of one of the numbers from the sequence against the number before it, is something really magnificent and mysterious indeed...

The Fibonacci Sequence starts with the number 0. Then, it continues with 1. The numbers after that are obtained by the addition of the two digits before it. And thus :

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89...

The sequence then continue on indefinitely. This progression signifies growth and the ability to learn from the things you did before to acquire the next piece of information.

A rectangle with the length and width of two numbers from the sequence is called the golden rectangle. This rectangle can be broken down into squares the size of the next Fibonacci number.

And when an arc is drawn into the squares, a pattern is formed. This pattern is a spiral. And it's significance is where it is found, not only in structures of the natural world but also in products of human culture.

A great sense of joy overcame me and I suddenly feel like jumping for joy and shouting out praises for God. The day spent in doing nothing is actually good for me. I realised that I have been neglecting myself quite a bit lately to the point of exhaustion. Not physically nor mentally but I have not been taking good care of my emotional and spiritual needs at all. I did not idle about the entire day of course but my time was given to God. I realised also that though I am busy with studies, time spent with God actually gives me the energy to continue, it is not a waste of time at all! And when I have finally laid down all that has been worrying me lately and commit it into His hands, a sense of peace filled me... Things are starting to look up now. Praise God indeed!

So, while trying to kill time and not fall into emoness as I tend to sometimes, I found this anime. It revolves around a girl called Kajika Burnsworth who is the daughter of a business tycoon in NYC. She has a very interesting past and her lineage if exposed, could bring about change and scandal to a small country call Raginei. Because her father is the illegitimate son of the past king of Raginei, King Mahaty, she is now the next in line to the throne of Raginei. And because of that, her father, Harry Burnsworth, wanted to find someone for her who would protect her no matter what the consequences in the event of his death. So he came up with a game for Kajika. He picked out 3 guys that would be her future husband, Eugene de Volkan, Prince Rumaty Ivan of Raginei and Carl Rosenthal. Each picked for their unique status and personality, Kajika is supposed to discover these 3 and to pick out one of them as her future husband. Fang Li-Ren, a brotherly like figure to Kajika is to keep watch over her as things unfold. However, it is getting harder for him to suppress his feelings for her as he sees her meeting up with the 3 candidates her father picked. Although predictable, the anime has a nice twist to it involving the political turmoil in Raginei. It is here itself when Kajika was pursued by an assassin and is at the brink of death that she realises the one person she could not live without. She finally realised how love really feels like. And in the end too, it is revealed that the 3 that her father picked are all not suitable candidates for her anyway. They are used as a measure to Li-Ren, the boy who was groomed from young to succeed Harry as Kajika's protector.

Of course from the start I was rooting for Li-Ren all the way considering how good looking he is... Although the other 3 has something about them that makes them special too, but Li-Ren is still the best!!!!! Haha... At least it takes my mind of things when I am drooling over anime guys and engrossed by the storyline. Takes my mind off worrying for others when I have not even dealt with my own problems myself... Now to go looking for another anime...

New work by Kaoru! By some twisted fate Alivia landed herself working as a 'tweeny' maid at the rich Bennett's house. She has to pretend to be his girlfriend at school while looking for her prince who had helped her years before. Only 4 chapters are in this volume so it's kinda hard to see how the characters feel about each other. Could Alivia be so deluded about her prince that she does not see the good in Bennett? Could Bennett be in love with another girl but is using Alivia to hide the fact? Could Shawn be Alivia's prince or is it someone else? So many questions unanswered! I can't wait for the next volume to be out!

After listening to the soundtrack of this movie for so long, I finally went in search for the movie. Some of the songs like "Entering Booty Town" and "Buddha's Delight" got me perplexed. I mean, what kind of movie like Music And Lyrics that would have songs like these? But after watching I understood that it was just songs from another character in the movie who is a pop singer... The songs that really dig deep into my soul would be songs like "Dance With Me Tonight", "Don't write Me Off" and of course the famous "Way Back Into Love". Hugh Grant has a great voice... His voice is the kind that can make millions of girls go crazy over, including me...! *swoon*

The characters in the movie really did a lot to reach their goal... Got me thinking back to Tuesday's bible study session. When I got to the question 'When have you had to persevere to reach a goal? What kept you going? How did this experience change you for the better?', I stoned... I thought back to the past 20 years of my life and I could not come up with an answer. Even though my family has faced financial difficulties in the past, I was not informed of it. It fact, my parents kept everything away from me and acted as if nothing has changed just so I would not get worried. Finding out about it a few years later, I realised how sheltered I am. It's time for me to really do something back for my parents and for myself... But what if their wishes and mine are so different that it could not work out together? Well, I just gotta pray about it... By the way, what is my goal in life again?

Went back to Ipoh and Penang for CNY as usual... Can't say I enjoy the hols as much as I should have. CNY just lost it's lustre for me... Maybe it is because I am not a child anymore. The excitement over the festivities, new clothes and food just died in me... Going back to my parents' hometown usually means playing games on the gameboy, playing fireworks at night and then cards right after that. I had to beg my parents to let me stay up late. Now, I just laze around the house and sleep even earlier than my parents. There's practically nothing for me to do.

I'm turning 21 this year while my cousins are either married or much younger than me and my niece and nephews are not even 10 years old yet. They are playing make believe games and running around the house shouting at maximum volume. I don't even know where they get all those energy! In some ways I envy them. Being older in the elders eyes means I have to act according to my age. I have to sit and look prim and proper. No more shouting and running around the house playing tag. Boy do I miss those days...

Bought some new foam stamps and crafting materials when I went to The Gardens on Friday. It seems these are the things that can really put a smile on my face. I already have gift ideas running through my head waiting to be made into reality. I find solace in crafting. While my thoughts are wandering, my hands would be diligently working. The same applies to dish washing... And eventhough 8 of my guppies, the whole tank by the way, died, at least I know I still have my betta fish and the cute little lobster here to accompany me...

Dearest sister, although I did complain a lot about staying with you, (it was forcing me to take a sniff of your smelly bolster and making me give you a goodnight kiss that brought them up) I feel really blessed to have you by my side when I am going through trying times. You could not imagine how much better I have been after those few days of spending some quality time with you. Our late night talks and crazy times really did much good for me emotionally and spiritually. There are a lot of things I have decided to do but it was so hard to actually put into action. Your constant reminders of having faith in God and trusting Him with my life really did wonders to me. You kept saying I am really like you before and I hope that God would use this time of mine here in small town Kampar to mold me into a person worthy of Him. A person like you. My mood has been going downhill lately...
I can't really get myself excited over anything. Even smiling takes up much more effort than it used to.
I can't focus on the work at hand. I have a lot of work due and I just can't get anything started!
The projects that I wanted to take up for myself are left hanging because I don't have enough equipment.
I'm losing my appetite. I can't finish off my meals and when I do I feel like throwing up.

Ahh, the delights of modern technology. I finally acquired the movie that I have been dying to watch it since it was shown in the cinemas but never did have the chance. An adaptation from one of my favourite books of all time, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Austen's books are the epitome of classical romance. With witty (and long) dialogues coupled with the portrayal of strong emotions and conflicts felt by the characters in the story, it is indeed a book I could sit down with for long hours...

Pride and Prejudice starts with the sentence, 'It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of good fortune, must be in want of a wife.' It follows the life of Elizabeth Bennet and the culture of the aristocratic society of early 19th century England. Along the road, sensible, lively and witty Elizabeth had to deal with others' perception of her upbringing in a not-so-well-to-do family as well as issues of marriage and moral conduct.

Proud Mr Darcy is exceptionally disagreeable and as he thought himself to be above his company, was rude to all and earned a very bad name for himself. His feelings were so well hidden that when he finally expressed himself, and very ardently too I must say, Elizabeth rejected him with little attempt to civility for in her mind she already have a preconceived judgment about him and his sense of superiority to her.

It is his pride that kept him from her and it is her prejudice that kept them apart until Darcy lets go of his pride and showed her how much he could change because of his love for her. Elizabeth too realised how different the real person is compared to her perception of him from stories she heard from others.

Although I love Keira Knightley for she is awesome in classic roles, I must say the movie does not do the book justice at all, most adaptations from books are very much likely to fail...

My mind is about blank now and I think it is time for me to stop blogging and to finally hit the sack... *yawns*

Christmas is around the corner and I am so excited!!!!! This year, I'll be celebrating Christmas in Kampar with those sesat friends of mine and it is going to be so much fun! We have already decorated Shu's apartment. It looks awesome especially the Christmas tree with the present boxes underneath it. I just love to have an excuse to decorate something!

A lot of people have asked me why I am taking a science course when I love everything arts and craft. Well, to tell the truth, I don't know myself. I guess I'm just going along with the flow for now. See where it leads me in the future...

Before I know it, the semester is almost coming to an end. And I bought some fishes for my room too! I hope they are going to be alright when I leave...

Here are pictures of my cute fishes! The most awesome one would be the fighting fish of course! But my other fishes are awesome as well! I was talking to my grandpa about fishes before Shu Ern and Sui Yen called me along to old town to get some. It was fun. The bigger fishes were bullying the smaller ones and I was really afraid that they are going to hurt them but I think they have finally settled down for now... I would love to get one or two more fishes soon after I am done decorating the tank!

Here's my fighting fish! It is called a halfmoon if I am not mistaken... It has a really pretty blue colour and it swims ever so elegantly! I really do like looking at it! One day I hope I can get a rabbit! Now that would be SUPER AWESOME! XD

I had a talk with Shu Ern when she came over to get some of our fish meds from me. I have never really had a talk like this with her before but it was good. =)

Guess what? We managed to surprise Melissa on her birthday. Of course she knows that something was going on when Calvin called her down that night before midnight but she did not think that we would do it in front of her house. The guys in the house next door were staring at us because we were so loud. Hehe...

And while we were at Ghany for supper that night, this guy here is very anxious over a football game. Look at his expression... Priceless... XD

And, our last CF meeting for this short sem... We had food and gifts exchange! Opening up the presents were fun indeed. Some get really special gifts while some got towels and shower gel. But it's all the thought that counts no?

Here would be Melodie and Kyle. For once, she towered over him. An accomplishment indeed... Kyle is amazed that such a thing happened...

Fiona and Derk...

I have been feeling unwell this week since Sunday. DK Shu asked me a lot of questions and after taking my temperature, told me that I have a fever and prescribed me some meds... I really hate taking medicine and was somewhat really dismayed that I had to take 2 panadols, 2 antibiotics and a very big Vit C pill... Urgh... Sheer torture! And I have to remember to take meds every 4 hours too... Sigh... I have to remind myself that it is for my own good every time the time arrives for me to swallow those horrible tasting things...

This sem, I had to deal with a lot of my own weakness and insecurities but I am glad I have all these good friends here for me all these time. I can't wait for more of our captainball and DotA sessions. Rain rain go away! Isabelle wants to go out to play!

I realised belatedly that while we were playing DotA, I was the only girl playing...

Well, to tell the truth, I think DotA is quite fun. Although I think I did 'ok' in the first game, I was totally pawned in the second one... 'Isabelle Killer' finally did his job of killing me multiple times till I get so fed up of waiting through the spawning period. Sigh...

A friend told me that I am pretty much a boy and that I am only a girl physically because I like anime/manga, I like playing games and well, I'm just not girly enough? But then again, is the society's old perception of masculinity and femininity stuck in our mind still? Must I be a girl that sits around and look nice, sew, does the house chores and cook?

I get to hang out with the guys today and it was really...different? Instead of just some normal exchange of pleasantries and jokes, there were some deep topic that were actually talked about. And although I am pretty much blur most of the time, it was interesting to listen to. It's like how I always sit around and listen to my dad talk to my uncle back home. Sure shows a person how childish she is when she listens to people her age talk about all these kinda things...

But I wouldn't mind hanging out with them again like this. I am not a girly girl, and I accept that. I enjoy games and I'd tag along more often to these sessions if they don't mind a newbie (I hate the word noob, just sounds so rude) like me going along... XD

Goodness knows how long I've been in need of sleep lately... And I pulled another night finishing off some surprises. I'm dead tired and feeling slightly hungry as well. My class is in 4 hours time. I wonder if I could actually get some sleep... I just finished my sociology presentation on gender inequality this afternoon. Although, like always, I forget to state some points that I wanted to because I was so nervous I couldn't even breathe, it went ok I guess... *sigh* I hope it is enough... My Japanese midterm is tomorrow, wish me luck guys!

Gakuen Heaven... I saw the picture and I though, why not give it a try? There are enough cute guys in the anime. And gosh are they drool worthy indeed. A school for the elites, each and everyone of them have something they are good at at national level apart from being good looking. But I did not know that this is quite close to a yaoi anime, more of a shonen-ai one. And believe me, there's not even ONE girl in this anime!!!!! I was slightly disturb, just slightly XD, when I watched it, the eye candy helped remedy that, but the last episode blew me away... Go watch it if you wanna know what happened... Or get the anime from me. I'm more than glad to spread some shonen-ai around. XD

When something is amiss or when things are just not the same anymore, the picture that you thought is already perfect is now missing a piece. Where can it be found? Will the picture ever be complete again? So many factors to consider yet all are variables that will change without warning. Change is inevitable but sometimes it is not easy adapting to change.

I have been thinking of a lot of things today... Thinking of a problem I have been tackling for some time now but have yet to conquer. I hope this can change. It is painful thinking about it. What does it really mean to love your neighbour as much as you do yourself? I am still trying to figure that out. Committing to something leaves you vulnerable, it hurts. A lot. But if you don't then what are you? An empty shell? Is that what I am becoming now? Immersing myself in worldly things to get away from people and my feelings, is that really the answer? Please help me understand Your will... Help me live a life that is pleasant to You. Guide me through this My Lord...

Ahh... It's been a long time since I blog... It's not that I don't have anything to say, well, I just don't feel like blogging. Lets just say I'm not in the mood... And I do not like to write short posts if I can help it.

Tonight we went to Sunway Pyramid for Nandos! It was delish as always, as Nandos is one of my fave restaurant of all time. We walked around after that but did not manage to buy much.

The only spoil I had for the day was this! Brisingr! Finally out in paperback... Dad bought it for meh!

We had fun playing lanterns and candles back home after dinner. It was hard work keeping the lanterns lit but then again the satisfaction of looking at the pretty flames and lights is good enough for us!

OMG... I can't believed I watch the trailer for New Moon from ShuE's blog... Among the 4, New Moon and Eclipse would be the two i read the least. Mostly because in New Moon, Edward is hardly ever around and in Eclipse, Bella caused Edward so much pain it was really hard to read on. Now the New Moon movie is out again and THE 'phail' Robert Pattinson is going to make Edward look like some sort of a loser... Taylor Lautner does a much better job being Jacob Black... Even Kristen Stewart looks the role though I kinda think that her acting is lousy. I know I should not watch the movie because it is just an insult to the book but then again, I'd watch it just to criticize it. That's what I do anyway when my favourite books are made into movies... Gonna reread New Moon again just for the sake of stepping on the movie... This is gonna be another epic phail... XD

I am a collector. A collector of what you might ask? Well, I collect a lot of things. From figurines to books to manga to stamps and coins, well, you name it. My mom of course likes a perfectly nice house with nothing displayed, a clean and simple decorated house. I on the other hand loves to display my collection of whatever I have at the moment. So different right? She likes simple and modern while I like vintage... I am everything my mom is not and she, everything I am not. I am loud, hyper and likes to say a lot of crappy stuffs just to make my parents crack a smile. Haha. Okay... So I have been lazy of late. It can't be helped. There are too many things to do lately that I'm practically sleeping every time I get the chance. My sleeping pattern is all wrong, my room is a mess, even my meal times are messed up. I'm half dead, dying soon and I'm glad to get some rest this weekend when I'm back in Ipoh and let my family pamper me a little. I deserved it! XP

First things first, let me get into my otaku mood and rave about Nodame Cantabile Live Action. I wanted to watch this a long time but never seem to get the chance till now. It was a pain downloading each and every single episode... But it was so worth it! The music was GREAT. The actors and actresses are even better. It was so funny and all the actions are really like the ones in the anime itself!

Mukai Osamu acting as the 'playboy' cello player. Okay, so I think he is much more better looking than Hiroshi Tamaki, pic below, shoot me. His smile is just too sweet to resist! *swoon* But Chiaki senpai does look really good wearing his long sleeved shirt all the time! Hawtness! Don't you just love a guy who can pull off wearing a long sleeved shirt and actually looking good in it? =P

Next would be an anime I discovered while scouting around for some to watch after I'm done with Nodame. It's called Yakushaku to Yousei or Earl And Fairy. The anime itself is not complete yet, I think there's another season since the story is hanging in the end but, Edgar, the Blue Knight Earl, is exactly the type of gentlemanly guy I drool after. XD He's smooth and suave and he talks about being a nobleman and his duty for his people all the time... Why aren't there any people like him on Earth anymore?

EDGAR! *HEARTS* He remind me somewhat of Suou Tamaki from Ouran...

Other than being in my fantasy world, I do have a life outside of anime and manga! Though these past two weeks have been pure torture. Tests and assignments and presentation on top of drama practices, I'm practically dead on my feet whenever I reached campus. The lack of sleep has been getting to me and I've been having headaches all over. My eyes hurt and itch and I can't open my eyes wide in the sunlight. I'm really turning nocturnal now... Gyah! I just need some fangs, a super power or two, a craving for warm red liquid and TADA! I'm a vampire! XD

Unexpected

Somehow, today was a great day. I had fun and rest. My grandparents came, they brought me food, we went out grocery shopping for more food and to the hotel for a buffet lunch, more food? XD It was relaxing and just something out of my ordinary routine. Dinner was good as well. It was a fellowship gathering of our weekly Sunday CG and as always it relaxes me even more. I feel so much better every time after CG when I have some problems, be it emotional or physical, to deal with. It was great, it was awesome! <3

Although I'm quite disappointed with the ending, Mineko was returned to the person she was before she met Helios and all their sweet and bitter memories in the Magic World was lost. Helios gave up his throne and disappeared. He ended up secretly protecting Mineko in the real world for years on end... I wonder if they would eventually end up together after all. The pain Helios is feeling right now must be great. I can't even imagine if the person I love would have to forget everything about me and all our memories together and I can't tell him that! It must be utterly painful! (And before anyone wonder when this is gonna come...) Helios in his real form looks so good! *swoons* Gyaah!

I have not updated at all lately. I will do so now. Isabelle has been kinda lazy and busy in a lot of ways lately and getting her sleeping pattern all mixed up so she is now 100% nocturnal. It takes a lot for me to actually get to campus early in the morning anymore and when I get there I'm half dead. However evening arrives and i get all hyped up. I started jogging every evening before dinner with Rebecca now and eventhough my leg hurts A LOT from the exercise after SO LONG it was worth it. It's fun and keeps me fit. The park that we jog at is next to the lake and is SO beautiful! Families take their children there, boyfriends and girlfriends and others who jog as well.

The lack of sleep and weird sleeping patterns are getting me cranky and I seem to snap at a lot of people lately. Even those I care a lot for get it from me. I just hope you guys can understand, when I'm cranky, no one is exempted from my mood swings. I'm trying to control them but it is not easy. This happens every time I get into a bad mood state and each time I lose control.

Another thing that I hate a lot is when people start talking in languages that I don't understand when they are with me. Goodness, don't they realise in a way they are keeping me out of the conversation? Even during discussions I need a translator. Once in a while I'm fine with it but when it gets too often, even if I want to learn, I'd get frustrated too. And when I complain they said it's for me to learn the language when listening to them. How can I learn when they speak real fast and don't translate often? Well, thanks for 'teaching' me and letting me be 'part' of the group. I hated the feeling of not knowing what others are talking about or even if they are making fun of me, because when translating, there are parts that might be editted or omitted. Makes me wanna run away from them and just hide in my shell. And they said I should take classes so that I can understand them better. I'm trying to learn already! Why can't they just speak something I can understand instead? ARRRGH!

I know this is like a VERY old movie but I can't seem to get enough of it. The main reason? Christian Bale is the voice actor for Howl in the English version. His voice here is so smooth and sexy, definitely drool worthy. Another reason would be the music score for the movie. The music is awesome! My favourite scene would be when they first met, the scene called Sky Stroll. Especially when Howl said, "Where to? Craving For The Warmth of Blood

The one reason why I started watching this anime is (YES) the HOT guys (vampires). I mean, who can resist them? They have the element of darkness, of mystery and yet, they are gorgeous and dashing. How can something like vampires thought to be beasts have such gracefulness and allure!?

I was also happy to find out that Zero was voiced by Miyano Mamoru, one of the best seiyuu ever in my opinion. Just because his voice has that something about it that makes me swoon. XD However, this anime for me is all about Kuran Kaname, the older brother and fiance of Yuuki... Voiced by Daisuke Kishio, the same voice of Kanayan from La Corda, he is my main focus throughout the anime. It's the eyes, it's the voice, it's his superiority as a pureblood vampire and it's his hair that looks like they're always dripping wet. *squeals!*

Like the other day class students, I'd probably be screaming at the gates every evening waiting for the night class (vampires) to leave their dorm if I can. No matter how dangerous vampires are, won't we still get attracted to them? Because we are attracted to the darker side of things. The mystery of others. Bad Things Happens...

Okay, so it has been a while since I blogged. Sorry. It's been hectic and a LOT has happened since I last blogged. I am swamped with assignments, tutorials and studying, preparing for the coming mid terms while dealing with a lot of unwanted drama in my life right now. Why can't life be free from drama? It's BAD for my emotional state and I just wanted to study, eat, sleep and at times report to headquarters for some zombie shooting!

Enough of the bad things. I do not wish for them to ruin my day. But let me tell you this, it certainly not easy to follow Him and love others like He did for us. It's a struggle indeed and I hope I can manage to overcome my own temper to see things more clearly instead of seeing RED.

And, I finally bought a bicycle! It is dark blue and has magenta paddles. Want to know why? I had an accident on Wednesday and had to get the paddles replaced. Cycling downhill from campus is great. The wind on my face, blowing gently on my hair... But that moment before the bridge, I saw a spider hanging on my handlebar swinging on a thread. Looking at it and trying to shake it off, I did not see the slight curve coming right at me and rammed right onto the side divider falling sideways onto sand and a few bushes. It was lucky they're there or else codfish (because my name sounded like shueh yu) will finally return to the lake, bags, clothes and all... Miraculously there are only some slight scratches on my hand. I have no injury at all otherwise and the scratches can barely be seen too. My basket was slightly bent out of shape, so is the head of my bike. But they're nothing that can't be repaired. Now my bike is as good as new again! It was a scary experience but you gotta fall at least once to be more careful in the future right?

Something else very surprising happened as well. The test I had for calculus and algebra on the day after we watched End of Spears at church? Well, some friends told me I had 25/30, the highest among sem 1 and sem 2. I thought they were joking at first. I could not believe it and was stoning for quite some time until it finally settled in. This was the test that I thought I had not enough time to study for. I did not expect this. It was as Mr Kali would say, SHOCKING! But I thank God for this. I studied the whole night for it after CF and on campus a few of my friends actually helped me one the few parts that I did not understand. Something good happened at last!

And finally, I had PIZZA for dinner tonight! Cycled to Old Town with Calvin, Kyle and Shu Ern. I cycled a lot today to and from campus but then again, I need to get used to this. It'll be like this for 3 years here. However, cycling is fun. The wind on your face. Chatting along the way. And I get to exercise too. I need to tone up, been losing some weight lately but then again, exercising is good for health!

I really miss my parents (eventhough they just visited me) and friends. See Pui left for Australia on the 5th and most of my friends are now at their respective local universities. We are all walking down our own roads but still, I hope we can meet up again at the crossroads of our lives.

Aha! Isabelle is going to blog not entirely about L4D as the title says but mostly about her hyperness! I'm still having the hyper virus after last night's L4D game with Calvin and Kyle. The game = AWESOMENESS. I did not have that much fun playing on my own. Playing with friends is fun! And I was even shouting as well. A first for me! Laughing all the way back and later on hyper-ing with The Click Five loud songs in front of my lappie talking to Nelly in CAPITAL LETTERS, that was great. I have not been like this for a long time now. I think this would be a great weekend. I was actually having a very bad week actually. I was moody, tearful, homesick and snapped at quite a lot of people because of little things. Sorry guys! But I feel so much better now. Maybe I just need to stay away from a few things that kept making me irritated and putting me in a foul mood. I am so sorry but I need to put myself first now. Maybe things will be better in the future but I don't think that anything could be done about it now.

Checked for my UPU result yesterday! I got Instrumental Science, a course that is totally not on my list at all. I was relieved that my conflict has finally ended. But my dad is planning to appeal, I just need to help him check out about the course at UPM. Though I doubt it'll go through, I'll just do what my dad tells me to. And that is all for now!

The Loves of My Life!

I woke up late today and missed the bus again! What bad luck... So I guess there's nothing I can do but walk all the way to campus with Satay because I absolutely will NOT ride on a motorbike EVER again. Thank goodness he messaged me or else I would still be in bed. We got there in time for the lecture to start at least. Our 'Team Building and Leadership Skills' class. It was ok I guess...... So my mood is not that good but what totally brightens up my day was, GUESS WHAT, the guys from La Corda! The waves emanating from them are so strong I'm swept away. They spell HOT all the way! The Scare of My Life!

I solemnly swear that I am never gonna ride a motorcycle again. Once is enough. I was scared stiff! Sigh... When satay came to my house this morning, the bus passed us by and we were left with no choice but to take his motor to the east gate or we will miss our class. The ride IS NOT EXHILARATING AT ALL! How can Kira sit on Rei's Ducati Monster!? HOW!? Maybe because she loves him and trusts him and well, he has a hell of a bike and has a great body and the looks to make girls go crazy over! XD Oh well, I was holding on for dear life today and squinting my eyes from the wind and the fact that I dare not look at the cars passing us by. My hair was a mess of tangles by the time we reached and the tutorial class was utterly useless! The lecturer taught us Microsoft Word. I learnt that in form 1 and 2 during my computer classes. It was such a bore. I nearly gave up my life for this? This is so not exciting. If I said I nearly gave up my life to see a performance by Len, well, that might actually be worth it... And why is it that all my plans are messed up or cancelled? Life is never fair and I am beginning to dislike Kampar now... I just really need to let out some steam. All my stress remover are not working at all... I feel like being a hermit again and crawl under my shell, talking to no one, seeing no one, ignoring the world...

And so, it has been a long time since I blogged. I can already hear some complaints although I updated *her* every single day.

My second week in UTAR was pretty normal, amidst all the lectures and missing some meals, I managed to pass through in one piece. I have 6 subjects :

General Physics (By now my lecturer remembered my name. I should not have corrected his mistake on the board.)
Calculus and Algebra (A very young guy is teaching us. He's quite inexperienced. Sotong calls him pikachu.)
Atomic Structure, Bonding and Periodicity (BORING!)
Chemistry Laboratory I
Computer Systems and Applications (WORSE THAN BORING)
Sun Tzu's Art of War and Business Studies (Well, I have an assignment now and I still don't get how so many people together can write a 1500-word essay...)

I joined the UTAR KAMPAR CF as well. And this week (which is my third week here) I went for bible study with the CF cell groups at the Wesley Methodist Church. My first time to a bible study group. I learnt a lot of new things and deepen my understanding of Jesus Christ and loved him more. I hope there will be fewer obstacles for me in this road that I have chosen. However, as my cell group leader said, God will only give us obstacles that match with our abilities and I will try hard to conquer them all!

Local U results will be out I think 18th and I am having mixed feelings. On one hand, I really like Kampar and wanted to join the CF in many more gatherings to come but on the other, I really miss my parents (Yes I am a pampered girl.) so I do not know what I should do. I feel homesickness a lot although it's not shown on the surface. And it is affecting my mood now giving me major mood swings and feeling emo just thinking about not being able to go home anytime soon. Would it be better for me and everyone else if I go back to KL?

My lack of sleep is really getting to me. I can't sleep at night and when I take a nap in the afternoon, there is always someone to wake me up 'unintentionally'. And so for once, I'll try to sleep early tonight and plan for some kinda outing tomorrow to release some of my pent up tension so that I don't strain myself from too much stress. I wonder what the figure of my Young's modulus is now.

A Basketful of Fruits Or Maybe Zodiac Animals?

Finally I finished Fruits Basket! A story about a family who has members cursed with the soul of the 12 zodiac animals and the cat who was left out. A long time ago, God gave a banquet and invited all the animals to it. However, the rat told the cat the wrong day for the banquet and the cat arrived one day late and was left out of the banquet. The souls of the zodiac animals and God was reborn in the Sohma family, after they made a pledge to always be together and to have a banquet for all eternity, making it a curse. The zodiac met a girl named Honda Tohru and one by one, their pain disappeared in her kindness. Even the one born as God, Akito, was not immune to her. The curse was lifted in the end.

The main attraction if this manga is the UTTERLY HOT GUY CHARACTERS! Yuuki, Kureno, Shigeru, Haru and Kyo! *hearts* And of course cute little Momiji who is the Rabbit! *HEARTS* Not as funny as Marmalade Boy but still, very much entertaining at times. =)
